Sally Barrera, 89, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009, in Conroe, TX. She was born Sunday, January 18, 1920, in Lumberton, New Mexico, to Teodosio Herrera and Bernadette Florez Herrera, both of whom have preceded her in death.

Sally was also preceded in death by her spouse, Raul Barrera; daughter, Patricia Rede; brothers, Edumencio and Paul Herrera and Aurelio Salazar; sisters, Carmelita Lucero and Lugarada Valdez; daughter-in-law Gayleen Barrera.

Sally is survived by her loving son, Raul Barrera Jr. of Humble, TX; daughter, Loretta Presswood and husband Jerry of Coldspring TX; brothers, Teodosio Herrera Jr. and wife Maria of Ogden, Utah; sister, Rose Ashley of Ogden, Utah, 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Neal Funeral Home, Cleveland, TX. from 10-12 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009, Service will follow at 12:00 noon. Internment to follow in the Oakwood Cemetery Coldspring, TX. A Rosary service will be led by Josie Garcia and Reverend Johnny Brady will Officiate Funeral Services.
