Mary died Wednesday 4 November 2009 in Community Hospital in Watervliet, Michigan.

She was born in Maryland and was married to Thomas Wesaw on June 14, 1947 in Lawrence. He survives her, surviving her besides her husband is a sister, Helen Bush of Cassopolis and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Kindle, her mother and stepfather, Margaret and Floyd Leach and her sister, Louise Tickle.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister.HARTFORD - Mary Wesaw passed away Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at Community Hospital in Watervliet.

Mary was born Aug. 11, 1929, in Maryland. She was married to Thomas Wesaw Jr. on June 14, 1947, in Lawrence. He survives her. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. Her faith and her church provided her with much strength and comfort through the years. She worked for the Heath Company, retiring in 1990 after more than 20 years of service. She was a life member of the VFW 1137 Ladies Auxiliary in Benton Harbor. She was a member of the American Legion Post 362 in Coloma for more than 50 years. She enjoyed bowling and camping.

Surviving besides her husband are one sister, Helen Bush of Cassopolis; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Charles Kindle; her mother and stepfather, Margaret and Floyd Leach; and her sister, Louise Tickle.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, where a prayer service will be held at 6 p.m., followed by a rosary service. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Fr. Robert E. Flickinger will officiate. Burial will take place in Maple Hill Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Smile Train or the American Cancer Society.
