Obituary - "Edgar Ezekiel Elliott 1872 - 1959
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Goult Funeral Home, Plainfield, for Edgar Elliott, Route 1, Plainfield, who died at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Wild Wood Hospital.
Mr. Elliott who was 87, had been a patient at the hospital for two days. Before that he had been a patient at the Hancock Resthome since March 4.
Born March 22, 1872 in the Town of Saratoga (Wood county), he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Elliott. He spent all of his life in Central Wisconsin. The present family home is on a farm west of Plainfield.
Mr. Elliott was married on Feb 22, 1894 to the former Florence Rozell, who survives. The couple marked their 65th wedding anniversary this year. In addition to his wife, Mr. Elliott is survived by nieces and nephews.
The Rev. David Wisthoff of the Plainfield Baptist Church will officiate at the funeral and the burial will take place in the Plainfield Cemetery."
