John was a wonderful, happy man with an amazing sense of humor. He told great jokes and you could hear his laugh a mile away. He was one of those people you instantly loved the moment you met him.
I used to laugh like crazy at his John Wayne impression. He had the walk down pat but couldn't quite do the voice without the his British accent coming through. Imagine, John Wayne with a British accent. Lol!
He was a wonderful husband, father and granddad, married to Else for nearly 50 years and father of Marie, Patrick and Claire, all great people as well.
John was a retired British police officer.
