Neeltje Visser was born on the island of Vlieland, Noord Holland, Netherlands on Feb 24, 1835. She was the third child of Olphert Reijersz Visser and Trijntje Jans Kromhout. She married Krijn Breen on June 30, 1859 on the island ofTexel,Noord Holland, Netherlands.

AGED PIONEER DIES AT AGE OF EIGHTY

Mrs. Kryn Breen Lived in This Vicinity 50 Years; 12 Great Grandchildren

Mrs. Kryn Breen, Sr. died Sunday afternoon at her home, 352 West 20th St. after a stroke of apoplexy. She had reached the age of 80 years. She is survived by her husband, 10 children, 57 grandchildren, and 12 great granchildren. The funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the home, the burial to take place in the Graafschap Cemetery. Mrs. Breen came to this country 50 years ago from the Netherlands. They settled on a farm in Graafschap from where they moved 18 years ago to this city.
