Janie Lee (Gustin) Smith, 34, 211 Spring Mill Road, died unexpectedly Monday at St. John's Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 8, 1856, in Anderson, and was a lifelong resident.
She had been employed at Gustin's Market & Garden Center for the past nine years.
She was a 1974 graduate of Madison Heights High School and attended Memorial Circle Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include her husband, Howard I. Smith; a daughter, Shelley LeeAnn Smith of Anderson; her parents, Robert L. Jr. and Mary Jane
(McKinley) Gustin of Anderson; maternal grandmother, Floy Lunsford of Hartford, Ky.; paternal grandparents, Freda and Robert L. Gustin Sr. of Anderson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home with the Rev. William T. Rose officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

home.
