Alpha Eileen Kolb Collums Hall Libby, age 63, of Houston, Texas died November 12, 2009 in Houston after fighting for 23 days for her life in EHMC ICU while alert and on life support. She developed a sudden onset infection that caused her body to go into multiorgan failure that she just couldn't pull out of. With her children Christena & Johnny, her mother Evalene, and her grandson Justin at her side she took her final breathe and exited her broken body and went to begin eternity in heaven with her Lord Jesus Christ. The burial of her body was in Pilgrim Cemetery near Elkhart, Texas under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine. She was born August 4, 1946 in Palestine, Texas, the daughter of Alpha Adolph Kolb and Evalene Nichols Kolb of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her father Alpha Adolph Kolb, and her husband Chester Frank Hall. Mrs. Libby is survived by her present husband, Howard J. Libby Jr.; mother, Evalene Kolb; daughter, Christena Eileen Hall; sons, Robert (Bobby) Lee Collums Jr., Johnny Ray Collums & his wife Tina Collums; and grandsons, Justin Ray & Dustin Haykin Collums, and Dylan Seward. Mrs. Libby was a Paramedic and Licensed Vocational Nurse where she served her community in Houston Texas for over ~40 years. She worked with Memorial Hermann LifeFlight, numerous Houston area emergency rooms, former director of South Lake Houston EMS, holder of all time volunteer hours for North Channel EMS, professor at San Jacinto College North Paramedic program, member of Beaumont Road Volunteer Fire Department, owner of Eileen's Bait & Tackle, and for the last 15 years worked as a charge nurse with the geriatric population of her community at Silver Spring's Rehabilitation Center in Houston Texas just 6 weeks prior to her death.
