Gary J. Baron, age 51, of North Port, Florida was born in Toledo and passed away November 13, 2009, after a valiant battle against cancer.
Gary graduated from Whitmer High School and Owens College in Toledo as an X-Ray Technician.
His passions were music, the outdoors, football and the art of cooking.
Gary is survived by his loving parents, Gene and Ronnie Baron of Venice, Florida; brothers, Dr. Jack (Susan) Baron of Englewood, FL, Tom (Nancy) Baron of Perrysburg, Ohio, Don (Debbie) Baron of Wellington, FL; sisters, Bobbie (Lou) Sukalski of Cleveland, Ohio, Nancy (Ben) Bober of Venice, FL, Jeanne (Bob) Mustonen of Trinity, FL, Sue (Don) Self of Tampa, FL and Michelle Ruiz, his long and very dear soulmate, and their dog, Shadow.
Services will be private and his remains will be given to the Gulf where he will continue his travels near and far.
