Geraldine was truly a giving and unselfish person; she donated her time and gave of herself freely to all in need.Geraldine worried about her family and others until her death; her desire was to make sure everyone was ok. She was a kid at heart; even as a grandmother, Geraldine would do it all; from riding seadoo's to riding four wheelers; on the second Tuesday of every month her and her friends would have an extraordinarily good time playing Pokeno. She also loved to swim, fish, and boat ride, and enjoyed children's birthday parties, especially the prizes and the candy. She would even make a bed a great trampoline. Geraldine was a fun loving lady and very humorous; whatever came her way she faced it with a smile and made the best out of every situation. Geraldine was a remarkable person that will be forever remembered by all.
Geraldine is survived by two sons Johnney Acosta Jr. and his wife Kim of Gibson, and Shane Acosta and his wife Shelly of Houma; one daughter Becky Templet and her husband Kirt of Berwick; her mother Thelma Hebert of Gibson; one brother Hillary Hebert of Stephensville; two sisters Diana Guillory of Bayou L'Ourse, and Stella Castile of Bayou Vista; also like a sister to her Beulah Bourgeois of Gibson; and her grandchildren Chuck Fangue Jr., Ashley Fangue, Kylie Templet, JJ Templet, Jace Templet, Macie Acosta, Sage Acosta, Axel Acosta, and Allie Acosta.
