From Hebron Journal March 28, 1902
Sidney Morford died at 7:30 o'clock Thursday morning at the advanced age of eighty years. Mr. Morford had long been a resident of this town and was highly respected by old and young. He leaves eight children to mourn their loss; four of whom, Mrs. Nancy Pratt, Mrs. Liddie Powers, Mrs. Sarah Ireland, Henry and Richard Morford, were at his bedside when he died. The funeral services were held yesterday at the residence of his son Richard. The remains were taken to the Lamb cemetery and laid beside his wife, who had preceded him a number of years.
