Connie L. Beair, 52, died Sunday at home. Born in Alden County, Mich., she was a homemaker. Surviving are five sons, Virgil Day and Tim Hittle, both of Van Wert, Burt Hittle of Scott, Norman Day and Bradley Day, both of Kalkaska County, Mich.; two brothers, Otto Washburn of Tennessee and Bob Washburn of Michigan; four sisters, Barb, Sylvia, Donna and Alberta, all of Michigan; two step-sisters, Rita and Lorain, both of Michigan; and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Martin Day. Services at 11 a.m. Friday at Cowan and Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, with calling one hour before services. Burial in Arbor Spring, Mich., at a later date.
