Leda Curtis Larsen was born Friday, October 4, 1912 in Aurora, Utah to Lero Curtis and Hazel Kennedy and was the second of eight children.

She learned to be a hard worker at a very young age on her father's farm. She joined her eternal companion, Grant F. Larsen, who was waiting for her on the other side of the veil. They were sealed together in marriage for time and all eternity on her birthday in 1934.

She had lived in the home he built for her for seventy years. Together, they raised six children, teaching them the rewards of hard work, perseverance, and frugality.

She instilled in them a great love of the Lord by her righteous example. She was beloved for her dedicated service in the Church and for her love of family history work.

She served as a visiting teacher for over fifty years with nearly a perfect record of her monthly visits made. She got great joy in life by preparing wonderful meals for her family and was widely known for her scrumptious desserts and candies.
