Robert R. Arrington, who states DOB as 27 of Dec 1845 in Twiggs Co, Ga, has a CSA pension application on line in the GA archives virtual vault. He says he enlisted in the fall of 1864 in Company D of the 5th GA reserves and served until his unit surrendered in Greensboro, N.C. on April 16, 1865. Proof of marriage to Ellen Williams on 22 October 1867 in Sumter Co, Ga is also included. She lists his death date as 14 March 1922.
