ANGLAND, Patricia — Age 89, of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, passed away and went to be with her Lord on Thursday, night, September 22, 2005. She was born in Spearfish, South Dakota, on March 17, 1916, to Frank and Ida Authier Papousek. Pat was an avid quilter and crafts person and a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and the St. Vincent De Paul Society. She enjoyed people and especially her church. She had worked as a bookkeeper and sales person. She was married twice, first to Ralph Hedrick who passed away in 1983, and then to John Angland who passed away in 1993. Pat was preceded in death by her two husbands, her brother, Lewis; her step-daughter-in-law, Shirley; and step-son, William Angland. She is survived by her niece, Bettina Nelson; nephew, Donald Papousek; step-son, John Angland; step-grandsons, Joseph and Eric Pettingill; step-daughters, Linda Wright and Lisa Parsons; and numerous great-grandchildren. We wish to thank Alice Miller and all the staff at Miller Manor for the wonderful and loving care Pat received while there. The family suggests memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, in memory of Pat mat be sent to the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 2468 Building Fund, C/O Dolores Thompson Treasurer, 416 W. Harrison Street, Roseburg, Oregon 97470. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2005, at the MOUNTAIN VIEW MEMORIAL CHAPEL of Myrtle Creek. Officiating will be done by the VFW Post #2468 of Roseburg at the Internment services at Roseburg Memorial Gardens.
