November 10th, Our beloved, mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend passed from of us this morning at 5:18 a.m. I cannot begin to tell you the ways in which I will miss her, as will her sons and family. She was my life. She fought so hard, the last 24 hours were unbelievable. Every single breath was a battle, I prayed for her to just let go and be at peace. Now she finally is, after such a beautiful life. I cannot say thank you enough to my mother in-law Jan for the care she gave to my beautiful wife as she passed from this world. My thoughts turn to the rest of our friends and family with thank you's to all for helping us down this road.

LAURIE LYNN CARSON, daughter of Ronald Allen VanWinkle and Janice Kay (Muselman) VanWinkle was BORN October 27, 1968 in Osceola, Iowa and PASSED FROM THIS LIFE on November 10, 2009 at her home in Woodburn, Iowa at 41 years of age.

LAURIE graduated from Clarke Community High School in 1987 and was active in 4-H and FHA.

LAURIE also attended Des Moines Area Community College.

LAURIE was united in marriage to Brian Keith Carson on November 4, 1989 at Osceola, Iowa and three sons blessed this union.

LAURIE worked at Van Meter Electric in Des Moines for several years and later worked as a dispatcher for Osceola Foods. She most recently had been the Administrative Packaging Clerk at Osceola Foods for the past two years.

LAURIE's time was consumed with her family and watching her boys in wrestling and football. Her interests included reading, country music, go-cart racing and sky diving. She had a great love of animals and most especially of babies. She enjoyed all of the Woodburn activities and served on the Woodburn Rodeo Committee.

LAURIE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER:
