Double funeral services for Mrs. Anna Falk, 74, and her son, Charles, 54, who succumbed to an extended illness Tuesday 12 hours apart, will be conducted at 2p.m. Saturday in the Presbyterian Church of Brownsville. Both were long-time residents of the Halsey area.
The Rev. Gary Knuths will officiate and interment will be at Alford Cemetery, Fisher Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Falk passed away at the Mennonite Home near Albany at 4:30a.m., Tuesday, and Charlie succumbed 12 hours later at the Lyn Manor Nursing Home in Lebanon.
Baynard Hillway will be solosist at the double service, and Mrs. Hillway, organist. On floral committee are Mrs. Raymond Kirk and Mrs. Charles Bierly.
Bearers for Mrs. Falk are: Raymond Kirk, Rawley Falk, Everett Falk, John Smith, Charles Bierly and Robert Carey.
His bearers are: Robert May, Oscar Davis, Charles Caufield, James Kirk, Charles Curtis, and Leslie Falk.

Mrs. Falk was born May 9, 1893 at Avoca, Wisc. She came to the Halsey area with her parents in 1903, and lived there until her final illness.
She was married April 9, 1909 at Halsey to Louis R. Falk, Sr., who passed away Feb. 21, 1955. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Surviving are eight children, 25 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Her children are: Mrs. Clifford (Ava) Thomson of Grants Pass; Mrs. James (Betty Jean)Alexander of St. David, Ariz.; Mrs. Aaron (Luella) Starnes of Culver; Mrs. Ardella Reese of Portland, Mrs. J. A. (Edna) Porter of Brownsville; Louis R. and Stanley Falk of Halsey and Delmer Falk of Junction City.
