Albert L Patterson, 87, of 439 E 4th died 7:30pm Tuesday in his home following a two month illness.
Born April 16, 1894 in Allen County, he was the son of Arthur Clair and Mary Hockenberry Patterson. He married Esther Giller on Sept 23, 1905 and she died Jan 6, 1949. He then married Pauline Fox Loughrige, and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Ralph C., Russell A., of Seattle, Wash., and Joseph M of La Grange. Texas; two stepsons, Ashley Loughrige Of Coldwater, and Edward Loughrige of Muskegon, Mich.; three grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, seven step-great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Mr Patterson was a member of the Hartford Christian Church and it's Mens Sunday School Class. He had worked in the oil fields in the West and had been employed by the state highway department.
Services will be 2pm Friday in the church, Rev. Leonard Spacht officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford Cemetery
