Irvin Alfred Black, 57, East Highbanks Road, DeBary, died Monday. Born in Carterville, Missouri, he moved to DeBary in 1977 from Longwood, Florida.

He was a former supply manager for a petroleum company. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Delta Sigma Phi, at the University of Arkansas. He was a member of the local DeBary Chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

After retirement from the petroleum industry, he pursued real estate and was a member of the DeLand and West Volusia Board of Realtors.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Hill Black; son, Mitchell Alan Black of Bricktown, New Jersey; daughter, Deborah Felbob of Reno, Nevada; brothers, James Clinton, Winter Haven, Florida and Chester Eli, DeBary, Florida; sisters, Edna Chidester of Alba, Missouri, and Laura Scott and Sylvia Wright, both of Carthage, Missouri, and four grandchildren.
