Services for Marguerite Boone Cohen of Brookhaven are 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 26, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday, Sept. 25, from 5-9 p.m. at Harrigill Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cohen, 72, died Sept. 24, 1997, of heart failure at her residence. She was born in Brookhaven on Nov. 28, 1924, to Alcus Boone Sr., and Lois Sartin Boone.
She was a 1943 graduate of Brookhaven High School and was a graduate of Mississippi Southern College (USM).
Mrs. Cohen was a retired secretary from Brookhaven Pressed Brick Co. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Ole Brook Chapter of the DAR.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and her husband, Raymond O. Cohen, Sr.
Survivors are her daughter, Caroline Cohen Passmore of Hattiesburg and Suzanne Cross Lovorn of Brookhaven; her brother, Alcus Boone Jr. of Brookhaven; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Passmore of Hattiesburg and Ashley McMillan of Brookhaven.
