Margaret (Ditzler) Behney, 99, formerly of Lebanon, died on Sunday, September 27, 2009, at the Masonic Village of Lafayette Hill. She was the wife of the late Paul Aaron Behney. Born in Green Point, she was a daughter of the late Marshall D. and Lillie (Miller) Ditzler. She was preceded in death by sisters, Florence, Ruth, and Esther, wife of Edward L. Jones, Md.; and a brother, Marshsall M. Ditzler. A homemaker, she was an active member of Salem Lutheran Church in Lebanon, the Women's Club of Lebanon, Order of Eastern Star, and was a life member of the Good Samaritan Hospital Auxiliary. Surviving are a daughter, Letty Jane, wife of Kenneth C. Farmer of Valley Forge; granddaughter, Barbara Ann (Schantz), wife of Thomas J. Murphy of Kimberton; three great-grandchildren, Sean, Michael, and Patrick of Kimberton; sister, Gladys Marie Ditzler of Catonsville, Md.; and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 355 St. John's Circle, Phoenixville, on Friday, October 16, 2009, at 11 a.m. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. A burial service will be held at Sattazahn's Lutheran Church, 185 Green Point Road, Jonestown, on Friday, October 16, at 4 p.m. Published in the Lebanon Daily News on 10/10/2009
