"Mrs. Carrie Carlton Jones Austin, 92, 266 E. 4th South, died Monday at the home of a daughter in Hemet, Cal., of causes incident to age. Born Jan. 14, 1861, Richmond, Va., a daughter of Thomas Henry and Edna Clay Pickinson Jones.

Married to William R. Austin. He died in 1925 (February). Member Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Surviving, sons, daughters, James R., Robert A., Mrs. Angie A. Harris, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Olive A. Crump, Mrs. Bessie A., Watson, Hemet, Cal.; Mrs. Billie A. Heath, Ketchikan, Alaska; 18 grandchilddren, 32 great-grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; brothers Charles Jones, Hemet; Louis Jones, Salt Lake City; sisters, Mrs. Bettie J. Lewis, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Rosa Beesley, Burley, Ida.; Mrs. Emmie Lewis, Richmond."

"AUSTIN ~ Funeral services for Carrie Carlton Jones Austin will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Max Stange conducing. Friends may call at the mortuary, 2128 S. State Thursday from 8-9 p.m. and Friday prior to services. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Kay and Graff, funeral directors."
