Thelma Sally Lowe passed away in Sandy, Utah on February 19, 2004.
Sally was born in Fairview, Utah to David Ross Vance and Laura Mower Vance on May 12, 1919.
She attended school in Sanpete County including, Snow College.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Blain (Melba) and Dean (Harriet) and her sister Virginia (John). Her sister, Betty (Charl) survives.
Sally and her husband were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
They were blessed with two children, Steven (Georgette) and Cindi (Kerry). Likewise they were blessed with eight grandchildren: Jamie, Skip (Amy), Brooke, Lance, Paul, Adam, Amy, and Ryan, and a special great-grandson, Tre. Sally's grandchildren were the loves of her life.
Sally's main callings in the Church were in Relief Society in which she served in several presidencies.
She loved the compassionate services the Relief Society provides.
She was the rock and strength to her husband.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, in the Sandy Willow Creek Chapel on 2245 East Creek Road.
Burial will be in Fairview cemetery where she will join her deceased family.
Friends and family may call on Friday February 20, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. So Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) as well as 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service at the Willow Creek Chapel.
