Kenneth R. Batley, son of Cecil (Graham) Batley and Alexander R. Batley, was born in Pittsburg, KS, December 31, 1927.
He graduated from the Pittsburg Public Schools and attended Kansas State Teacher's College at Pittsburg. He taught school three years.
Mr. Batley was a diabetic for eleven years. His condition worsened until he passed away August 6, 1956.
He leaves to mourn his death: his mother, Cecil M. Batley, Pittsburg, KS; his father Alexander R. Batley, Cherokee, KS; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Carrie Graham, Pawnee City, NE; half-sister Dorothy Ann Batley, Cherokee, KS; half-brother Michael A. Batley, Cherokee, KS; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held at the Wharry Mortuary, August 9, with burial in the Pawnee City Cemetery.
