ROMNEY, W.Va. - Beulah Chapline Baker, 87, of Romney, died Friday, June 19, 1998, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
She was born on Feb. 22, 1911, in Hampshire County, the daughter of the late Dallas F. and Willa Chelsea (High) Rogers. Also preceding her in death were her husband of 56 years, Edgar S. Baker, Feb. 3, 1985; one brother, Ralph Rogers; and a half-brother, LaVan Greenwalt.
She was a homemaker and a loving aunt.
Mrs. Baker was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are one niece, Jane R. Wolford, Cumberland; and one nephew, John Baker, Westminster, Md.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney.
Services will be conducted on Sunday, June 21, at 2 p.m. at the Shaffer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harley F. Baldwin officiating.
Interment will be in the Indian Mound Cemetery, Romney.
