"Frank Archer, Zion's Benefit Official, Dies ~ Funeral services for Frank T. Archer, 61, of 518-8th Ave., assistant treasurer of Zion's Benefit Building Society, will be conducted Saturday noon at 260 E. South Temple. He died at his residence Wednesday afternoon of a heart ailment.

Friends may call at the mortuary Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.

Mr. Archer was born Jan. 4, 1896, in Salt Lake City, a son of William and Emma Archer. He married Ella Callister July 11, 1917, in Los Angeles.

He was a member of the Ensign Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and had served with the 145th Field Artillery in World War I. He was also a member of American Legion Post No. 2.

Survivors include his widow; a son, Frank C. Archer, and three grandchildren, Salt Lake City; a brother, Charles W. Archer, Los Angeles, and three sisters, Mrs. W.H. (Birdie) Olmsted, Mrs. Frank (Lou) Squires and Mrs. Ruth A. Haddow, all of Salt Lake City."
