"William Archer, 80, a resident of Salt Lake for 62 years, died at 7:45 last night at his home, 357 West Third North Street.
Mr. Archer was born in Little Paxton, Hungingtonshire, Eng., Dec 1, 1857, a son of William and Ann Dixie Archer. He retired 20 years ago from employment with the Utah Soap Manufacturing Company.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Emma Archer of Salt Lake; two sons, Charles W. Archer of Los Angeles and Frank T. Archer of Salt Lake City; three daughters, Mrs. Birdie Olmstead of Glendale, Calif.; Mrs. Lou Squires and Mrs. Ruth Haddon of Salt lake City and six grandchildren."
