Diane Gail Hibbard, 55, died peacefully Monday morning, July 28, 2008, at her home with her loving family and sister, Joni, by her side.
Diane was born on Sept. 5, 1952, in Burlington, the daughter of Arthur and Ida (Picard) Savoy.
She married Langford "Lanny" Hibbard on July 25, 1970, in the United Church of Milton. Together they settled on part of the Hibbard Farm in Milton and began their family.
Diane loved being in her flower gardens and walking with her sister Joni. She especially took great joy and pride in her grandchildren.
In addition to Lanny, Diane is survived by her children, Tonya Bidwell and husband, Philip, Talina Hibbard and fiancé, Bryant Perry, Trinda Hibbard and fiancé, Jason Shappy, and Troy Hibbard and fiancée, Carol Jacobs, all of Milton. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Michael, Carmen, Paige, Sydney, Noah, Tatum, Gage, Spencer, Owen, Ava and Taylor Diane; by her brothers and sisters, Ronald Savoy and wife, Lorraine, of California, Roy Savoy and wife, Nancy, of Nebraska, Nancy Cota and husband, Rob, of Monkton, Donna Savoy and companion, Willard Jocelyn, of Lowell, John Savoy and wife, Sue, of Essex, Duane Savoy of Berkshire, and Joni Sawyer and husband, Jerry, of Milton; and by several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks are given to Joni - not only Diane's sister, but also her best friend, who was by her side from the beginning to the end.
Diane was predeceased by her father, Arthur, in 1997; and mother, Ida Savoy, in 2002.
