Daughter of Civil War general and ex-governor of Wyoming Thomas Moonlight and his wife Ellen Elizabeth.

Married 8 Jul 1889 to Theodore Simons in Cheyenne, Wyoming. After her death, Theodore married Bertha Quimby and moved to Spokane, Washington, then Butte, Montana where he was a mining engineer.

She had one son, Walter Wallenan Simons (5 Feb 1891 in Utah - 25 Jan 1975 in Los Angeles County, California) who lived for some time in New Jersey.
