Leona was born July 1, 1920 in Price, Utah to Joseph Abraham and Mary Elizabeth Evans Bean.

She was the youngest of seven children. She graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City. After graduation she was married on August 8, 1941 to her husband of sixty-six years, Joseph K. Davis, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Mom was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a fantastic cook. She quilted many crafts for family and was an expert gardener.

She made the world's best apple pie and shared it with many family members and friends. Mom's home was a gathering place for our family where everyone felt welcome and she always doted on her guests.
