Irene Baker, 90, formerly of Council Grove, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, in Dallas. She was born Dec. 15, 1912, in Council Grove, to Joseph and Jetti Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, Harold I. Baker, Topeka; a daughter, JoAnn Rodgers, Tecumseh; a son, Gary Baker, Tulsa, Okla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be Sunday afternoon in Council Grove. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Council Grove.
Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
