Edward Charles Ackart
Charles E. Ackart was born in Indiana, August 8, 1871 and came to Iowa at the age of 17 years and settled at Walnut, Iowa. He was married to Miss Eva VanBuren at Walnut, Iowa in 1895. Their marriage was blessed with four children, of which one died in infancy.
Mr. Ackart passed away last Sunday noon, February 8, 1925. He had reached the age of fifty-three years and six months. He leaves to mourn his wife and three sons: Charley of Des Moines, Arnold and Theodore of Avoca. May our heavenly father comfort the bereaved family with his love and grace is our earnest wish.
The funeral services were held at the Henry Blust funeral home, conducted by Rev. Essig, Tuesday at two o'clock p.m. February 10, 1925 and the remains laid to rest in the Walnut Cemetery.
