My Uncle Don.

"United States, World War II Army Enlistment Records, 1938-1946," Donald J Woodruff, June 4, 1942 at Ft. Douglas, Utah:
Enlistment for the duration of the War or other emergency, plus six months.
Born: PANAMA CANAL ZONE.
Education: 2 years of high school.
Occupation: Semiskilled miners, and mining-machine operators.

Married 1) Wanda Harriett Vail (1929-1993) on Jan 3, 1947 in Moab, Grand Co., UT.

Married 2) Mr Aunt, widow Nina Mae (Sage) Rice sometime about 1968.

Uncle Don was fun to be around and was a great husband to my Aunt Nina. Every time I visited with them he was always very kind and loving to our family and seemed to enjoy playing outdoors with our boys. He had the Cowboy look about him and wore a beautiful hat that he almost gave to our son (except this mama wouldn't let him). I also know that Aunt Nina sure loved him and Grandma Sage thought he was a pretty special son-in-law.
