BOKLAGE, MARY MILDRED BUCKMAN, " MILLIE", 84, of Louisville, died Friday at Wesley Manor Health Care Center. She was the daughter of Kelly and Virginia Buckman, a native of Marion County, KY, a loving mother and homemaker. With her husband, the late George C. Boklage, she had been an avid square dancer and active in several clubs of the Kentuckiana Square Dance Association. She did award-winning needlework and china painting and was a long-standing member of painting groups in Louisville and Lebanon Junction. During her child-rearing years, she was active in numerous school and church organizations. She was also active in the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Auxiliary in Nazareth, KY. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death two infant sons, William Glenn and John Robert Boklage. She is survived and greatly missed by her seven children and their spouses, Charles E. and Brenda Boklage, of Blount's Creek, NC, Sheila and John Bowers of Aiken, SC, Don Boklage of Washington County, KY, Shirley and Raymond Lindle of Louisville, Jim and Constance Wilson Boklage of Frankfort, KY, Jeannie Boklage of Bardstown KY, and J. Eric and Carla Boklage of Norfolk, VA; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop, with burial in St. Andrews Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Ratterman & Sons, 3800 Bardstown Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Nelson County Industries of Bards-town KY, 801 Allison Ave., Bardstown, KY 40004 or Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville.
