"In the name of god Amen I Alexander Armstrong ofAl the county of Livingston and estate of Kentucky being in a low state of health but of perfect mind and memory thanks be unto god calling into mind the mentality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men onest to die. I do make and ordain this my last will and testement that is to say principally ond first of all I give and recommend my soul to God that gave it and my body to the ? end to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian burial at the descretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general reserection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and or teeching I ? estate wherewith it had pleased god to ? me with in this life. I give and dimiss ond dispose of the same in the following manner. to wit. The first of all I give one bequeth to Nancy my beloved wife all my pershable property horses cattle sheep and hogs and all my farming tools one feather bed and furniture and all the kitchen apparaties and to have her maintenance on the place whereon I now live and at her death to dispose of to her childrin as she thinks proper. Also I give one bequeath to my daughter Mary one dollar to be hers forever(Mary is married to James Kimsey and probably already has her inheritance) and also to my son William I give one bequeath a tract or parcel of land Beginning at a conditional corner on the west side of the ? Fork of Crooked Creek at the mouth of a branch running the general course of its branch to the ? ? thence with the sawline or lines to the ? below. Thence with said to the beginning conditional corner containing one hundred and fifty acres more or less to be his forever. I also give and bequeath to my two other sons Samuel and Thomas to be decided equally between them it being the tract or tracts where on I now live. containing four jundred acres more or less to them forever also I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann one feather bed, one furniture to be hers forever.
