Norma Lucille Alcorn, 79, of Arcola died at 8:41 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital, Coles County, surrounded by her family.
She was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Arcola, Il. to George and Quetta Woodworth Gaylord. She married Leo Edward Alcorn in Arcola on Nov. 22, 1949. He preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 2004.
Survivors include her son, Mike Alcorn and wife Natalie of New Palestine, Indiana; three daughters, Sue Fiala and husband Rick of Arcola, Connie Alcorn of Arcola, and Teresa Stanberry and husband Ken of Mount Zion; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
