Emma F. Alvarez, 82, of Eloy, died on Oct. 24, 2009 at Hospice Compassus.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Nov. 4 at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mrs. Alvarez was born on March 11, 1927 in Cortaro and was a daughter of Enrique and Amalia Figueroa. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing and listening to Spanish music.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Zamora, of Eloy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel; a son, Manuel Alvarez; and three brothers, Henry, Roy and Ramon Figueroa.
