Mr. Berry was a government cattle tester in Augusta and Highland counties. The accident happened Sunday night about eleven-thirty o'clock, and officers believe young Berry either went to sleep, or lost control of his car when it skidded on the wet pavement. The machine struck a tree and was practically demolished.

The driver suffered multiple injuries, but one at the base of the brain was described Monday by his physician as fatal.

This was the fifteenth highway fatality in Augusta County this year.
