1633 Thurston Avenue, age 70, passed away in St Luke's Hospital, Jan 28, 1968. Mrs Lettsome was born in Oslo, Norway, Sept 14, 1897, but lived in Racine since 1921, having moved here from Marseilles, IL. She had been employed at Zahns for over 20 years, retiring in 1963. She was a member of Bethany Methodist Church and the Woman's Society of Christian Service of Bethany Church. Surviving are one son, J Richard Lettsome, of Racine; two daughters, Mrs Royce (Lois) Eck, South Bend, IN; and Mrs Milton W (Jean) Knauer Jr , Racine; five grandchildren, A 2-C David R Eck, USAF in Thailand, Barbara Eck, South Bend, IN, Milton III, Brian and Michael Knauer, Racine; two brothers, Berger Gulbrandson, Racine and Arthur Gulbrandson, Elkhorn, WI; one sister-in-law; Josephine Lettsome, Racine; two sons-in-law, Royce M Eck, South Bend, IN and Milton W Knauer, Racine. She was preceded in death by her husband, John on Oct 15, 1967. Funeral services will be held Wed Jan 31, at 11 am in Draeger Funeral Home, with Rev Veryl E Schubert officiating, the Draeger Funeral Home, 1910 Taylor Ave, Tuesday afternoon after 4:30 and during the evening.
