Wilson R. Stigleman Jr., a former Junction City resident, died Aug. 10 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Phoenix, Ariz., at age 57.
He was born in Butler, Okla., on sept. 9, 1926. He moved to the Junction City area in 1937 and was graduated from Junction City High School in 1945. He served in the U.S. Army until his retirement in 1964. He retired from the Arizona State Highway Department last year.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue Ellen, of North Carolina; three sons, Andrew W. of California, James A. and Dale A. of Phoenix; and a sister, Wanda Mosegard of Junction City.
Services were held at Grier Chapel and Funeral Home in Phoenix on Aug. 13, with graveside services on Aug. 14 at Resthaven Park Cemetery of Phoenix. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the chapel.
