Mrs. Nellie S. Stone

Mrs. Nellie (Sylvester) Stone, 87, of Main St., Wallum Lake, R. I., died Friday in her home after a long illness. She was the widow of Walter L. Stone. She was born in Cummington, Dec. 12, 1869, daughter of the late Charles L. and Elvira (Smith) Sylvester. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Mary DeBlois of Wallum Lake with whom she made her home; four sons, Robert of Cranston, R. I., Melvin of Laconia, N. H., Russell of Somers, Conn., and Richard of Woburn; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Cross of Windsor Locks, Conn., six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at W. R. Waterman funeral home, 26 Church St., Pascoag, R. I. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery, Worthington. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 today.
