DAVID JOE SHEDD, 66, of Abbeville, Miss., formerly of Bartlett, retired office manager for the City of Memphis, died of congestive heart failure Tuesday in Bartlett. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery East. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Abbeville, a 32nd degree Mason, and a former member of the Shriner's Brass Band. Mr. Shedd, the husband of Jane Shedd, also leaves two daughters, Suzanne Horton of Bartlett and Vicki Farnham of Las Vegas; a son, Frederick Shedd III of Bartlett; a brother, Frederick Shedd Jr. of Midwest City, Okla., and four grandchildren.
