Anna Coleman Curtis was born to James Nelson Coleman and and Elizabeth Albert (Coleman) in 1875. The Alberts and the Coleman Family had a Genral Store in Moffat.
She married George H. Curtis in Saguache on the15th September 1896 and lived South of Saguache until 1897 when they returned to town and lived in the Adobe house.
Anna had five boys who gave her great joy and some small trouble. She was known by most as "Mom Curtis" by her kin.
She lived a fast life on the ranches and cooked many a meal for the numerous family and help. She always prepared meals on Friday to separate the "Sabbath" and keep it Holy
