Francis "Frank", age 77, passed away on Sunday at St. Francis Home. He was born the son of Benjamin & Adela (Bonlender) Hartmann. On August 22, 1953 he was united in marriage with Shirley Dunst at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Theresa, WI. Francis was a 1950 graduate of Mayville High School. He was employed at Purity Cheese Co. of Mayville. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Mayville. He was also a member of the Theresa Lions Club. Frank was loyal to family & friends, loved to play cards, and was always followed by his two black labs "Sam & Sue". Francis is survived by his wife Shirley of 56 years; 5 children- Sheila (Robert) Boeder of Iron Ridge, WI, Cynthia (Glenn) Rhode of Fond du Lac, WI, Sandra (special friend Dan Anderson) Velasco of Fond du Lac, WI, Thomas (Nancy) Hartmann of Kewaskum, WI, Patricia (Dean) Derge of Kewaskum; 1 foster daughter Darlene Dietzler of Oak Creek, WI; 2 brothers- Robert Hartmann of Florida, Ralph Hartmann of King, WI; 1 Sister-in-law – Sun Sung Hartmann of Florida; 12 grandchildren Amanda (fiance Artie Klemme) Kirchner, Shawn (Sarah) Boeder, Brittany Boeder, Brooke Boeder, Alex Rhode, Aaron Rhode, Santana Velasco, Xavier Velasco, Bradley Hartmann, Krystal Hartmann, Haley Derge, Macaulay Derge; Great grandchidren- Tyler, Paige, Bobbi, Aleshia, Austin, Olivia & her soon to be born baby sister; also nieces & nephews other relatives and friends. Francis was preceded in death by his parents & 1 brother Roger.
