Joseph Jules LaCombe passed away Saturday June 27 of complications from renal failure.

Born in Echo, LA to Clementine Charrier and Camile LaCombe, then moved to New Orleans.

He was a proud Coast Guard veteran of WWII during the Pacific Invasion. Joe has been a long time member of the American Legion, Post 307, the VFW Post 6640 and the Military Order of Cooties Metairie, the Louisiana Mud Bugs, Pup Tent #3.

Joe retired from the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers in New Orleans January 1992.

He and his family then moved to La Mesa, CA.

Joe is preceded in death by his son Joseph, Jr., his daughter Beverly and wife -Dorothy Ball, brothers Alan, Forest, Raymond, Celsa, sister Cesna.

He is survived by his daughters Danielle, Alicia and Carolyn Cappello, brother Camile "Boogie", and sister Margaret Maples, many nephews and nieces.

A funeral mass and military funeral will be held .
