ANNA GOODING IS CALLED BY DEATH
Anna Frances Gooding, 1011 East Wilson street, passed away at her home Monday evening at 4:30 p.m. following a lingering illness. She was 69 years, 3 months, and 16 days of age at the time of her death.
She was born near Lancaster, Mo., March 12, 1879, the daughter of Joshua and Susan Abbott. She had been a resident of Centerville for 42 years.
Surviving are her husband, Jess Gooding of Centerville, two sons, Jesse of Centerville and Leslie of Kansas City, Missouri; two grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, two brothers, Rude Abbott and John Abbott of this city; and three sisters, Mrs. Minie Miller, Des Moines, Mrs. LIzzie West, Centerville, and Mrs. Sally Martin of Coal City, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oakland cemetery.
