We found Power Puff at the Fire Fighters Christmas Tree Lot in December 1960. When we took the tree we wanted to purchase to the checkout table the fire fighter noticed that there was a kitten in the tree and he said, "I guess we're doing a special on free kittens today." We begged Daddy to let us take her home and we did.

Puffer (as we ended up calling her) loved to bring our Momma "gifts" and would leave them at the front door. Her "gifts" consisted of lizards, birds, and our Momma's favorite mice. She also loved to sleep in our Momma's flower-bed where it was cool much to Mom's frustration. She was quite a kitty!!

Puffer was a sweet little cat and had the most quiet meow you ever heard. She lived a good long life and died when she was 20 years old.
