The remains were taken to Reed's Mills this morning, the former home of the deceased, where the funeral services will be held.
Mr. Johnson was taken sick last Wednesday, and as he grew rapidly worse his disease was pronounced spinal meningitis. Two of his sisters and brother were with him when the end came.
Deceased was the son of Samuel and Mary Johnson and was born in Salem Township. He was 24 years of age and unmarried. His father and four sisters, Mrs. Annie McCullough, Varina, Jennie and Keziah, and two brothers, Samuel and Thomas, survive.
The interment will take place at Two Ridge Cemetery.
