Charles Wayne Buckley, 86, of Pensacola, died Monday, October 28, 1996 in a local hospital. Mr. Buckley was a native of Palmersville, Tenn., and resided in Pensacola for the past 20 years. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post 240. Mr. Buckley was preceded in death by his wife Gladys F Buckley, his son, Joseph B. Johnson and his sister Mary Bell Stone. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Rodney N. and Elaine Johnson of Cumming, Ga.; brother Bruce Buckley of Nashville, Tenn. Funeral services will be held Thursday. Burial will be in Barrancas National Cemetery.
