Vinny grew up in West Asheville. He was known as an excellent carpenter and humorous man. He loved playing the drums and making things with his hands. He always advised everyone that no matter what, to always laugh and love each other.
He is survived by his father and mother, Chuck and Pat Alfieri; wife, Dawn; sons, Vinny (Alyssa), and Bradley; daughter, Brandi; three step-daughters, Gloria, Gennifer, and Toni; granddaughter, Violet; siblings, Chucky (Dee Dee), Jimmy (Janet), Kitty (Steve), Kim (Shelby); nephews, Chris, John (Sophi), Roy, and Jared; nieces, Krissy (Jamie), Samantha, and Emily; great-nephew, Colby; great-niece, Brooke; mother-in-law, Penny Deacon (Bill); and many aunts and uncles. Vinny was preceded in death by a nephew,Levi James Alfieri , and a niece, Autumn.
