Her greatest love was for her three sons. Dawn was a member of the Bellevue Christian Center. She loved to fish and spend time outdoors and she had a great love for Native American history. Her family and friends will remember her love of life, nature, animals, arts and crafts and especially making dream catchers. She valued spending time with family and friends.
Dawn is survived by her children, Logan Ray Alderson of Battle Creek and Lance S. Weaver of Bellevue; her mother, Annette (Knowles) Alderson of Bellevue; sister, Karen Johnson of El Mirage, Arizona; brother, William (Pam) Alderson of Quincy; special friend, Ed Hoppes and numerous nieces and nephews. Dawn was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Alderson; her son, Toni Alderson and by her grandparents.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Shaw Funeral Home, Lehman Chapel, Bellevue. Services will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Bellevue Christian Center with Rev. Danesh Manik officiating. Interment, Riverside Cemetery, Bellevue.
